Experiencing RLS.

I have just made myself a cranberry and vodka drink, which is in keeping the fall theme of reaping the ripe fruits of autumn and what else screams "AUTUMN" like the humble and flavourful cranberry? It's packed with nutrition and antioxidants and actually offsets the damage that the vodka might incur. No guilt here I am afraid and I will not apologize for drinking and typing. So now that I am all settled down, and sort of watching the televison with a wary eye, I will add some information into my blog. I never know what I am going to write, and just let the creativity flow. I sometimes wonder if I am a victim of automatic writing symdrome, which I imagine is similar to restless leg syndrome (aka RLS), which is a new phenomenon, but not new to me. I know that people are a little dubious about restlesss leg syndrome and feel it is an ersatz state of abundant energy that the pharmaceutical companies like GlaxoSmithKline have chosen to promote as a curable condition that they have just formulated the medication for.

I, for one have experienced this a number of years ago, at a theatre. I can't remember what the movie was but can recall the restless feeling that caused me to constantly move my legs into different positions. Nothing seemed to help and I am sure that I was annoying everyone around me, with my contortions and constant moving about. I can only remember this happening once in my lifetime, and it was very weird. I felt that the best remedy for the condition would have been jogging, as means of dissapating the sudden energy. I would have gladly done this if the movie was over, but I had to endure the bizarre feelings of athleticism while sitting in a darkened theatre. I believe this was the only time that I could have actually run a marathon without really trying. I guess I was lucky that this was a one time event for me. I no longer feel like jogging and getting rid of excess energy. Sometimes I could use a little RLS to get me going in the morning,
